Your original photos stay on your phone — nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share an image (by email, instant message, SMS, or another app) or turn it into a product. How much does it cost?
Kartoonify is free to download with a set of starter styles. Unlock every preset and unlimited generations with a one-time purchase — no subscription.
Can I re-roll a result I didn't love?
Absolutely. Hit Regenerate and Kartoonify re-renders with a fresh random seed using your current style and settings — infinite variations, no limit. You can also fine-tune with the detail sliders before deciding.
Do I need a strong phone or internet connection?
Nope. The AI runs entirely on your device via its fastest engine (Metal, NPU, or GPU) and automatically falls back to the CPU on older phones. It works fully offline — on first launch it downloads the ~1 GB model once, then everything runs locally.
Where do my photos go?
On your phone. All processing happens locally — nothing is uploaded or stored in the cloud unless you choose to do so. Generated avatars live only in your camera roll. The only time an image leaves your device is if you actively share it (email, instant message, SMS, or another app) or turn it into a product through our print partners — and even then only the finished artwork you choose to send, never your originals. Any analytics are limited to non-image usage data.
How does the "Make It Real" shop work?
After generating a cartoon you can turn it into a physical product — a canvas, poster, phone case, or mug — straight from the app. Orders are fulfilled by our print partners; it's a one-off purchase with no impact on your generated files.
Is it available for both iPhone and Android?
